Campuses from across the U.S. are coming together to urge our universities to reject Trump’s Higher Ed Compact, and call on our institutions to protect academic freedom, public research, access to information, and diverse representation among students, research participants, faculty, and staff.

AFT Vermont locals have been running a fall political action, organizing members to sign on to AFT Vermont’s legislative priorities. These cards will be shared with members’ representatives at the beginning of the 2026 legislative session.
